Scourge Purple drops & BM

I'm currently wearing the full set - but before I got it I was all in blues (with a couple of greens still). I haven't noticed a big difference between what I had before and the new epics, except in my overall confidence. Somehow with the upgrades to my armor I felt like I could finally take on Kara (where I picked up a couple of epic weapons - woo hoo!).
IMHO, there are some people (like me) for whom the set will be an improvement over their existing gear, but I suspect for many people who already have decent gear it will be at best comparable and at worst something of a downgrade. I'd be interested to hear if anyone thinks it will be advantageous to have the set when WotLK launches next week - for example, are there going to be so many undead mobs that it makes the slight buff from equipping the entire set actually Hunter
